The primary purpose of the support group is to have a forum for families that are connected to the Department of families and children's services. The group leader's main focus is to educate and inform families that has a family member in foster care. The group will allow family members to speak out if necessary against what their perception is or has been about the treatment of a family member while in foster care. You will be referenced about the legal aspect of foster care. You will learn your legal rights and how to use them in or out of a court system. The group meeting time will be announced.
